So while technically this isn't a true "before and after," I wanted to share what we have done so far. This room started off as a dumping ground for all of our moving boxes, so the first step was to unpack. We then ripped off all the wall paper and painted the room in Farrow and Ball's Down Pipe. Since we are not ballers I had that specific color tinted into paint from the Home Depot. Ya'll know what we did on the floors :) So after that it was time to fill the shelves and floor space. I am definitely not finished with this room- I vision a table by the sliding doors to play cards/enjoy tailgating food for when we watch ISU or Alabama on the big screen. The two windows need floor to ceiling curtains, I want all the doors painted black, new modern hardware on the cabinets, new sconces by TV, and of course I need more books :). *Most* everything I have in the room came from our old house, which came from a thrift store. The big couch was a JCPenney score (I got it at the JCP furniture outlet in LA) and I have several links below to similar items in this room. I will continue to share updated pics of this room as I score deals on cool stuff. Enjoy!
Couch // Ghost Chairs // Rug // Rug // Desk Chair // Chair Pillows // Couch Pillows // Rattan Chair // Sheep Skin

p.s.s. using a bench as a coffee table is like the best thing ever, I can put my feet up no matter where I sit!
